TEACHING ARTISTS
TheatreWorks’ Education Department is currently accepting resumes for Teaching Artists for year-round work. Ideal candidates are strong Teaching Artists with:
- A college degree in Theatre or other significant experiences and training
- Experience working with children and/or teens
- Daytime weekday availability
- A valid driver's license and car
- Specialty in acting, playwriting, musical theater, clowning, storytelling, etc.

Design and Production Professionals
We hire scenic and costume designers for many of our shows. Although we have Equity stage managers and resident lighting and sound designers on staff, we have occasional opportunities for additional professionals in those areas. To supplement the efforts of our on-staff shop, craft, and production professionals, TheatreWorks often hires contractors, from carpenters and painters to property fabricators, costumers, electricians, and other theatre craftspeople. Shop and craft specialists construct and install all scenic elements, help maintain shop and rehearsal facilities, and assist in striking and recycling scenic materials. Successful candidates will have experience in professional shop practices, woodworking, and steel fabrication, with proficiency in common theatrical construction techniques.
